The Cards tab on our platform provides a single, centralized view to manage all the cards created within your company. With this tab, you can easily filter, manage, and perform various actions on both virtual and physical cards assigned to employees. Below is an overview of the features and how to use them effectively.
Filter Cards for Easy Management
To simplify card management, the Cards tab offers multiple filter options, allowing you to easily locate specific cards and take actions as needed. You can filter cards based on:
- Card Type: Filter between virtual and physical cards
- Frequency: Filter based on the card spend intervals
- Card Status: Monitor card status, including cards that are locked, frozen, deleted, or awaiting activation
- Cardholder: Search by employee to quickly view and manage their cards
These filters help you keep track of all card-related activities and ensure you can perform any necessary actions promptly.
Understanding different Card Status
⇾ Pending Activation
Cards that are awaiting activation are typically newly issued cards that need to be claimed by the assigned user. To activate these cards:
- The recipient of the card must log into the platform
- Locate and select the “Claim” button for their card on the dashboard
- Input their mailing address and confirm the activation
The physical card will be shipped only after the card recipient completes this process.
⇾ Locked Card
The Lock feature is available exclusively to company admins. It allows you to temporarily disable a card without the need to permanently delete it. To lock a card:
- Select the card you wish to lock
- Click on the “Lock” button to immediately deactivate the card
You can unlock the card at any time by clicking the “Unlock” button. With this feature, you can temporarily suspend card usage without losing any details.
⇾ Frozen Card
Frozen cards are typically those that have been automatically blocked by the system due to suspected fraudulent activity. In such cases, the cardholder will receive an email notification about the freeze.
However, you also have the option to freeze the card yourself through your account if you suspect it may have been compromised.
If you come across a frozen card, follow these steps:
- Review the email notification sent to the cardholder
- Check the transaction flagged as suspicious. If you do not recognize it, follow the steps outlined in this article, to report the transaction
- If you confirm the transaction is valid, contact our support team to request the reactivation of the card
⇾ Deleted Card
This card view will provide you visibility on any previously deleted card. If you need to delete a card, follow these steps:
- Use the Cardholder filter to locate the relevant employee
- Select the card you wish to delete, which will open a side panel displaying the card details
- At the bottom of this panel, you will find the option to either edit or delete the card
- To delete the card, click on the rubbish bin icon
Important: Once a card is deleted, this action cannot be undone. If needed, you will have to create a new card and assign it to the employee again.
