Enable Single Sign-On (SSO)

To enable Single Sign-On for your Jeeves account, please contact our support team. Once this feature has been enabled, follow the steps below to configure Okta as your Single Sign-On method.

Step 1: Create a new App Integration

Important:In order to enable Single Sign-On for your Jeeves account using Okta, you must have the Okta Access Management API included in your Okta account.

Log into your Okta Admin dashboard, go to Applications and click on Create App Integration:

Select OIDC – OpenID Connect as the Sign-in method and Web Application as the Application type:

‍Step 2: Configure settings for your new Web App

Next, you'll configure your Web App with the following settings:

  • Input “Jeeves” as your App Integration Name‍
  • Copy and paste the following URL as the Sign-in redirect URIshttps://prod.jeev.es/v2/web/user/okta/callback
  • Copy and paste the following URL as the Sign-out redirect URIshttps://prod.jeev.es/v2/web/user/okta/callback
  • Select “Allow everyone in your organization to access” in Controlled access. Only employees that are existing Jeeves users or that are invited to Jeeves will be able to log in
  • Select “Enable immediate access with Federation Broker Mode” in Enable immediate access

Step 3: Locate the Client ID, Client Secret, and Okta URL of your new Jeeves Okta App

Once your Web App is configured, you'll need to find your Web App credentials. Next, you will input these values into the Okta Integration screen inside of your Jeeves Dashboard:

  • Find the Client ID to paste it in the Client ID field
  • Find the Client Secret and paste it in the Client Secret field
  • Find your company Okta URL by clicking on your profile

Step 4: Set up Okta SSO inside of your Jeeves account

Log into your Jeeves account and navigate to the Security screen in your Settings. Once there, you'll click on Configure SSO and select Require Okta SSO. You'll then input the values from your Okta Web Application into the integration setup modal:

  • Paste the Client ID and paste it in the Client ID field
  • Paste the Client Secret and paste it in the Client Secret field
  • Paste your company Okta URL in the Company Okta URL field

Once your Single Sign-On is enabled, your team will only be able to log into their Jeeves account using their Okta login information.

Trouble signing into Okta?

Are pop-ups enabled in your browser? If pop-ups are not enabled, you will run into the following error message: "The email address you submitted is not configured to use Okta SSO."

Make sure you are signing in through tryjeeves.com and not through your organizations page on Okta as we do not support IdP-iniated log ins.

How do I disconnect Okta SSO?

To disconnect your Okta SSO, simply navigate to your Configure SSO screen and select Modify Okta SSO. You can then disconnect your Okta integration.
